1. The Provisional Government is the name given to the government that led Russia from March 1917 to November 1917. Throughout its existence, the Provisional Government met at the Tauride Palace. By July it was led by Alexander Kerensky, he was prime minister until the Bolshevik revolution of October, 1917, when, after unsuccessful attempts to capture the capital he fled to Paris where he retired.

2. One of the reasons trench warfare came to an end was the introduction of the tank.

By 1916, tanks were being used. They were first unveiled during the Battle of the Somme, and they terrified the Germans. With the ability to crush the barbed wire defences of their opposition, the British were at a great advantage.

Lenin was in charge. It rumoured, that when he realized he was dying, he warned the other party members to do away with Stalin ( for the sake of the party ). They used a combination of early chemical gear (gas masks) and wave assualts the death toll was grave. The influx of fresh american troops and supplies allowed the allies to overwhelm the axis troops.

It's spelled tzar, if you're referring to the Russian overthrow during WWI, sorry. that's all I can help with, the question is a little confusing... what exactly are you asking in that last part?
