I think there is a very simple explanation to this question:

The dinosaurs ruled the earth about 160 million (160,000,000) years ago while the bible creation of the earth is about 5,000 years ago. This means that you need to choose what you believe in;

If you believe that there where life before 5,000 years ago then the explanation would be that during the time that the bible was written (or more likely- during the period of time that the bible is referring to) there where no discoveries of dinosaurs remains- hence the people who lived at that time did not know about once upon a dinosaurs… so did not write about those great go made creatures

If you believe that there was not life before 5,000 years ago then you need to believe that either there were no dinosaurs or that they were living where in places were there were no people, in some remote areas on planet earth.

Hoe that helps a bit

Very simple. The people that wrote the bible had no clue how old the earth was, and had no ability to figure out how old all those bones laying around were. Hence - Dragons were invented to explain them. Just like lots and lots of things were invented to explain other unexplainable things. To say there weren't dinosaurs is going back to a much more ignorant time. If we weren't mean't to figure things out God wouldn't have given us the ability to.

The answer is that the Bible isn't historically accurate. When it was written, people didn't know about dinosaurs, fossils, the geological evolution of the earth. Depends on what you believe, I guess, creation vs. evolution.

The simple reason: No such thing as dinosaurs!

Yes, it's true. The devil made a bunch of fake bones and fossils, and planted them in the earth around the world.

He knew that good, decent Christians would find the bones, and that it might possibly weaken their faith, and make them believe in *gasp* EVOLUTION!

That Satan, he's a tricky one, to be sure.

Some Bible thumpers will say that Dinos were sea creatures that lived in the oceans during the great floods, but i have no idea what gave them that idea it never says that in the bible nor were all Dinos sea going animals.

There are references in the Bible to giant creatures in ancient times - these are often identified with dinosaurs.

... has much more detail about the science and the biblical analysis than I can provide.

I admit that they tend to be one-sided and stubborn about some points, but their analysis is thorough.

the Bible says odd creatures, or some thing of that nature, it doesnt go into any specifics on any animals so rlly there could have been other animals we still dont know about

Read your Old Testament again....when God got disgusted with his Eden project and man's behavior, he cast the four tribes to the four corners of the Earth....

plenty of time for dinasaurs there...no concrete timeline untill "Numbers"....could have been been a million years...

The reason that dinosaurs and early man are not found in the bible is because the existence of such things are impossible to explain if the bible is taken literally.

Fortunately for us, fundamentalists have been able to answer this question. They claim that the fossil record was placed into the earth at the time of creation (6,500 years ago) to test the faith of believers.

You see, the invisible old man in the sky was wise enough to give us this method of distinguishing between the faithful and the faithless.

Granted, if you told one of these people that his wife was cheating on him or that frozen yogurt can make a man invisible he'd require some form of proof, but this argument, which is just as irrational is taken completely at face value.

Good luck with your journey along the path of reason. I highly reccomend the book "The End of Faith" by Sam Harris as a way to further your insights into the inanity of our current belief system.
