I have a set of about an intch thick of ofically stamped blueprints of the USS Haskell, a troop transport attack ship. The approval stamps have dates from 1944 and the history of the boat puts it in most of the major areas in the pacific theater. I got them from an attic of an estate sale that was full of stuff that was going to be thrown away. The prints range from about 4 to 6 feet wide and are mosty about 3 feet tall. The number designation of the Haskell class ships that is on all of the prints is VC2-S-AP5 and the number that designates it as the Haskell that is on the prints is APA117. The USS Haskell was the first of Haskall class troop transport attack ships. There are a lot of other numbers referring to the plan number involved with the prints. One of the Prints has an approved date of 5/20/41. I am interested to know if these are worth a vey much money, or if I should just hang them on my wall because they look cool.

Probably a couple of hundred dollars at most to the average collector, worth more to somebody whom served aboard her or from somebody else that has a special interest in the ship. However, that's not to say they would not be worth more in the future. If you keep them try to keep them in good condition.

Best of luck to you.

HI, i am a expert in ship blueprints having seen around 10,000 or so. I know some one who might be interested in buying them. But first you need to find out, what kinda of blueprint it is it can range any where from, a book of general plans, to the ship Builders "yard" plans. They could range from over all view plans to details of the electrical systems to engines. Once i know what kind of plans they are i could maybe direct you to some one who might be willing to buy them.

Can you email me at tomlbates@gmail.com and tell me

what are you asking for the plans?

are you willing to donate them to a museum?

how many sheets are there?

Can u send me a few photos or scans so i can determine what kind of plans they are.
