In the 15th century, the line of demarcation divided the known world between Spain and Portugal. If you were to create a present-day line of demarcation who or what would the world be divided between? Why?

The 1494 Treaty of Tordesillas didn't divide the 'Known World' between anybody - it was a line drawn to establish claims to newly discovered lands outside Europe between Spain and Portugal.

I wouldn't have any demarcation lines in today's world - Free Trade and globalization for all.
