I just finished reading the Diary of Anne Frank and just attened the play.

Her most favorite thing to do while in hiding was write in her diary, she hoped that one day it would be published publicly and re-wrote it about 3 times. Anne also enjoyed Greek mythology and art. She had pictures of movie stars on her bedroom wall and loved playing with the cat. (Mooshie, in the the book)

While Anne was a "free" child she loved going to movies and riding her bike with her friends or even going down to the corner store to buy ice-cream. sh loved the beach and going to parties.

Her favorite color is red, like the shoes that (Meip) gave to her for her birthday.

One thing Anne greatly disliked was practicing the piano!

Television wasn't around in the 1940's, but she and the others in hiding DID listen to the radio.



Her favorite films are also unknown; she probably never got to see any after the German occupation in 1942, because Jews were not allowed to attend the "cinema" (this is from her own diary, by the way, one of the earliest entries), and she enjoyed reading and genealogy.



Of course, she's best known as a writer, and left some short stories as well as her diary.



It's very sad that she never lived to reach her full potential.
