What i find interesting is, how we label the race "lazy" when they have indeed produced some of the most important stuff we use today.

Blame our education system, where the text books we use are chosen, revised and rewritten by people with an eye on rewriting our history with a conservative slant.

There are two basic reasons for this and they are inter-related: Christianity and the European colonization of the Americas. Christianity provides the story of Noah's son Ham, who the tale goes was darker-skinned and cursed by Noah. European colonization led to the arrival of Europeans who wanted to identify with their recent ancestry and heritage so they completely ignored all of the great achievements of African culture while creating their own cognitive dissonance and 'heroifying' European culture and explorers.

Christopher Columbus used Christianity and its biblical verses to enslave, kill, torture, rape and eradicate the natives, and he gets a national holiday, even though there is evidence that Africans actually reached the Americas long before Columbus. It is a terrible shame, but many historians are now discrediting many of the fictitious accomplishments credited to Europeans while detailing the atrocities they committed. Also, many African contributions are now being more readily recognized than ever before. Unfortunately, racism takes a long time to overcome, especially when many Americans fight against education and logic. Let's hope that many of these great African accomplishments receive their due recognition sooner than later.

Yes I agree with you!

I am white but I have no prejudice against Black people as we are all humans.

It really starts with education so I teach my children who are that young age in which they have not formed racist or prejudice ideas that we should like all people and not judge.

Education is the key, we must start to teach children from a young age.

I only call someone lazy if they are, I don't care what color their skin is. I am an IT Manager and 75% of my technicians and engineers are black.
