How come people don't want ancient Egyptians to be black/African?

People if the ancient Egyptians were African/black then just get over it ok, what wrong being ancient egypt were black people. I get so offensive when America show these documentary about Ancient Egyptians being white. How can a White person handle the sun in Egypt/Africa.

Egypt is a African Country, What the matter with black people have history, All y'all Whites just want to still other people history and say it yours.

I agree with you. The reason is some whites don't want to admit that black people are smart and came up with things. Such as different maths, languages, etc.. Did you know it was the Egyptians that came up with Geometry and they taught it to the Greeks? Then the Greeks attempted to destroy all of the evidence pointed towards Egyptians and acted like they came up with it when the Egyptians did years before. Africa was colonized and doing well for itself until the Europeans came along trying to fix things that weren't wrong. The Africans way wasn't the "right" way according to them, so they tried to fix things and ended up turning it into chaos and then left. This is why Africa is this way today. Btw, you never hear about the successful parts in Africa. There are cities that are industrialized and have business people internet etc...You always see the poor people and the starving children which is kind of funny because you can walk down streets in America and see the same thing.

I wouldn't care if they were black. However a lingering affection for the real world says that they were not.

The problem is the ancient Egyptians weren't "black". That's a fact proven by DNA taken from mummies. They were not white like Europeans either, but they were brown like they are today or like the Semitic people of the Middle East (you know like the Arabs who live in the Arabian desert and who handle the sun there just fine). There is a significant genetic and cultural difference between the Afro-Asiatic peoples of North Africa and the Africans south of the Sahara.
