I have a couple of questions.
1. How many people lost their lives in the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire in 1911?

2. Do “sweatshops” still exist today? Please explain your answer.

148 workers, mostly young immigrant women from Italy and Eastern Europe, died in the fire.

Sweatshops still exist today, unfortunately. Many pay below poverty wages, but since the workers are mostly illegal immigrants, they keep quiet.

yes sweatshops still exist, especially in third world (poor) countries. Nike shops in the late 90's were a good example.

149 people, mostly young women from eastern and southern europe, died in various different ways.....smoke inhalation, falling and hitting the pavement, and even landing on the spiked iron fence outside....this sparked the reform movement which gave workers all kinds of right....

yes, sweatshops exist today but they are not legal in this country, and are very secret...
