I think I did really bad on my delta sigma theta interview... It's sucks because I worked so hard making my packet PERFECT.... My letters were great and my gpa is well above 3.0... I was so nervous that after the third question one sorority member said to calm down and take a deep breath. I answered every question but I feel like I did horrible. My packet is perfect, I know that for a fact... Do I still have a good chance??

Everyone is nervous especially if there are a lot of people present. As long as you answered the questions correctly, you should be fine. Answering is what matters most and it's understood that there will be some jitters. Hopefully, you are not competing against hundreds of other girls. Good Luck!

Interview is always a comparative affair. Normally (if the interviewer is competent) s/he probes deeper ito the interviewee's knowledge base and experience. that might add to the discomfiture of him/her. But the interviewer is only doing his job; while attempting to put the candidate at ease. So, it should be taken in that spirit.

The fact that many of the questions are unanswered is no criterion for rejection. Such questions are put to 'sound' how deep the candidate can go. Yet an ideal candidate (if prepared well) would revel in answering appropriately.

If the preparation is narrow in its base but the interview widens the matter under discussion, a candidate would view the questions from his narrow perspective. It is like 'if you have only a hammer, everything looks like a nail' , the famous Murphy law dictum.

So, don't lose hope but wait for the result (I hope it isn't out yet). World is wide and one interview wouldn't put an end to your endeavour or future.

the certainty which you have been even invited to have an interview is a stable sign. Being worrying in this occasion is frequent so i'm uncertain how "poor" you rather did. yet considering which you have been interviewing with the interior reach alumnae (and not undergrad) financial ruin, there is a few bigger expectation which you would recognize a thank you to habit your self in a business enterprise putting. At this factor, it would desire to flow the two way. The strenght of the the remainder of your application (i.e. transcripts, letters of advice, community provider) is probable going to determine issues. i think of you would be ok although. If that's meant to be, we can be Sorors sooner or later.

Yea, you're fine! Those interviews are tough on potential new members and they know it. Trust me when I say they do know how it is. They were probably that nervous during their interview too. As long as your packet was good, you'll have a decent chance at a bid. Good luck!
