What is a guess of the appraised value of a older Seth Thomas school clock?

This question may be too difficult, .........my father recently died, an appraiser went through his house, he had a clock, it is described as a "Seth Thomas school house wall clock circa 1890". It is in working order. The appraised value is a little pricey for me (of course I'm not saying what it is). Anybody want to take a guess as to the value or ask me another question about it? thanks :-)

Check out the link below - there are currently over 1,000 "Seth Thomas" items up for auction. Try to locate the ones closest to yours in style, condition, etc., and put them on your "Watch List" until they sell. That should give a good price range from which to start.

A friend of mine came across a Seth Thomas Mantle clock. It says Bondra Chime and it has 905 on the wood and other parts. I was impressed because the chime looked like an old pocket watch. Is this worth any money??
