I think all the 4 options are wrong. Akbar built a walled capital called Fatehpur Sikri near Agra, starting in 1571. However, the city was abandoned and the capital was moved to Lahore in 1585. Some historians think that it was due to the water supply which was either insufficient or of poor quality.; Other historians are of the view that Akbar had to attend to the northwest areas of his empire and therefore moved his capital northwest to a more strategic position. In 1599, Akbar shifted his capital back to Agra from where he reigned until his death.
