Why did Adolf Hitler have nothing against Arabs or Muslims?

I am told too often that "the reason why Adolf Hitler targeted and hated Jews was because Germany and Europe already had a long history of anti-Judaism and anti-Jewishness..." Well guess what? Europe also had a long history of anti-Islam and anti-Arabism, that which can be traced back to the 10th Century AD. In the Middle Ages, the Christians of Europe hated Muslims more than they did Jews, they would not even allow Muslims to live amongst them.

So why did Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party have nothing against Arabs or Muslims?

Was it because there were virtually no Arabs or Muslims residing in Germany at the time Adolf Hitler decided to become a Politician?

Oh - Hitler would have started murdering Arabs after a while. But mostly he was at war with England - and he wanted to push England out of colonies in Arab areas.

IGNORANCE. Hitler hated everything that wasn't Aryan, especially the Arabs and Muslims! First of all, Hitler would have had a lot more Muslim concentration camps, if only he took over the world like he wanted to. Second, schools only like to teach us about the Hitler's killing of Jews because they were depleted the most . . . so, they're like scapegoats. Hitler and his Nazis did also kill a bunch of other groups, such as blacks, Muslims, homosexuals, etc. He hated everything, but he just REALLY HATED the Jews. Plus, the Jews were in Germany at the time. He was trying to focus on his own little country before he went taking over the world.

Mostly, it that they weren’t in issue in Western Europe at the time. Most of the tension between Muslim and Christian is in the Eastern parts like the Balkans that have large Muslim population. Still Hitler had an odd relationship with Arab leaders and groups in the Middle East and North Africa. He thought them inferior, said awful things about them, and refused to shake their hands. However, Hitler saw the chance for cooperation in number of ways against Jewish people, and allied government like France. It is worth noting that a lot of people try and use the limited Arab and Nazis cooperation as proof that Arabs and Jewish will never get along however there have been books about the organized efforts of Muslim to Jewish people escape the Nazis like The Grand Mosque of Paris: A Story of How Muslims Rescued Jews During the Holocaust.

Hitler and the Nazis hated EVERYONE who wasn't their idea of the pure Aryan race, which is ironic, because Hitler himself didn't exactly meet the qualifications. I'm sure Arabs and Muslims would have been rounded up with everyone else and sent to the camps - had there been any Arabs or Muslims around.

I think there were two reasons:

- There were virtually no Muslims in Germany at that time.

- Antisemitism was on the agenda of a number of right wing groups. By being an antisemite himself, Hitler could count on the support of these people. He "harvested" the hate that others had incited, so to say.

Who says they didn't? Hitler had over extended himself by attacking Russia...If he had stayed with simply trying to control Europe, I've no doubt he could have won at least Europe. That said, HItler's nazi party had problems with anyone who was not Aryan. And it's stupid to think that arabic countries weren't at the top oh hitler's list.

Exactly, there were basically no Muslims living in Germany at that period of time. There were all in the Middle East. Hitler would have killed them if he had the chance. He only liked people of the Aryan race (white skin, blond hair, blue eyes). If Hitler conquered the entire world, there would have been no muslims.

I would like to introduce Haj Amin Al-Husseini, the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, was an important Palestinian leader who sided with the Nazis during the Second World War. Not only did this hate cleric and jihadist meet Hitler in November 1941, also did he cultivate the personal friendship of Adolf Eichmann, the very man who was in charge of organizing the Holocaust. Eichmann told his friend Willem Sassen after the war that he was proud of having killed at least 5 million “enemies of the German Reich.” The Holocaust was codenamed “The Final Solution of the Jewish Problem” (“Die Endloesung der Judenfrage”). The Mufti used a similar term on at least one occasion. Oddly enough the Grand Mufti was the uncle of Yasser Arafat of the PLO.



When Haj Amin Al-Husseini visited Auschwitz and Monowitz in the summer of 1944, hundreds of thousands of Hungarian Jews were being exterminated. He and his entourage were wearing long robes and strange headgear. When a high ranking the SS-officer told a prisoner. ‘They are the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem and his retinue.’ The prisoner then asked him, ‘What is he doing here?’ ‘He is paying a visit to the camp,’ the SS-officer said. ‘He lives in Berlin where he enjoys Hitler’s personal protection. He is now paying a visit to Monowitz to see how the Jews are working themselves to death in factories. He is also in Auschwitz to see the gas chambers. When we have won the war he will return to Palestine to build gas chambers and kill the Jews who are living over there.’”



Another little known fact is the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem and Eichmann were very good friends. Eichmann lectured to the Grand Mufti in his map room, where he had collected statistical accounts of the Jewish population of various European countries – he lectured in detail about the solution of the Jewish Question in Europe. The Grand Mufti, according to him, was most impressed and said to Eichmann that he had already asked Himmler and had in fact secured Himmler’s consent on this point, that a representative of Eichmann should come to Jerusalem as his personal advisor when he, the Grand Mufti would go back after the victory of the Axis Powers (i.e. Nazi-Germany, Italy and Japan, EV).

well what i have read.. is that Adolf Hitler was Jewish himself.. i'm not really certain.. but maybe he hated himself and the people around him when he was young. He thought that they were all good educated or greedy and he felt that they were taking too much from this world compared to what they were in the history and he felt a huge urge to eliminate them, you can see many drawings that Jews were compared to greedy bastards that took too much, when they got the chance to lift them self from the dirt they didn't hesitate they just took everything he probably thought. At someplace a Jew must have done a huge depression on him.. sometimes it just came into his head.. they must be eliminated.. some stuff where just random i think.

Hitler was a fan of US Eugenics and therefore of the master race concept (see below, 1.). Like many Germans after WWI (for the reasons below) Hitler was anti semitic (2. below).

The SS consisted to 60% out of foreign volunteers. Many fought against Soviet oppression. Among those were so many Muslims that the SS permitted to prictice Muslim religious habits in the SS and opened a SS Mullah School in Dresden.

2. In the Reich of 1871 Jews had full equal rights. Emperor Wilhelm II had declared "no Religion to constrict any employment or carrier of anyone and no religion to advance it".
