We have different cultures because depending on where people live, not everyone can do things the same.

Differnet foods are eaten in different places because of whats available. And clothes are different-people in Africa wear differnet things then those in Alaska because of the temperature. In different countries music and art are also different- this gives the world some variaty.

In very olden days communication was not so easy. People of one part of the world didn't know, where else there were people. Ways of lives (cultures) developed independently based upon their own experience of life and individual and collective needs. Philosophy about life and nature were develeped for small communities.



From religious point of view, yes this is how god wanted it. Yes, we are supposed to be different and share the world and live in harmony.
